Envirograf - Product 42 (HW02/E)

IN ORDER TO SATISFY BUILDING CONTROL YOU WILL REQUIRE PRODUCT 42 (This Product) AND A TOP COAT.

Fire Resistant Paint

If your building inspector requires you to have 1/2 hour fire resistance to a wooden structure then look no further than the Envirograf range of internal and external paints.

To meet BS476 Part 22 and EN European Test EN 1364-1:1999
For 30 or 60 minutes of fire protection to external cladding you will need two coats of the Product 42 HW range - either HW02/N(clear) or HW01 (white) then a top coat of the HW Superb.
A primer is not required if the timber is new, untreated or tanalised, but you will require a primer if you are applying to Oak. Please note that this product is not a primer - it is the fire resistant coating that then requires a sealer (TOP COAT)

Each product covers 8m2 per litre

Clear intumescent coating that must have a top sealer coat applied. Once coated, HW02N will last the life of the Top Coat. If the Top Coat is re-applied at the end of the cycle, HW01F will continue to offer fire protection for life. If applying to a black surface, you must apply a black top coat.
