Why would I choose

Royal Exterior

Value for money. Compare it to Cuprinol Shades (which is equivalent Woodstain & Protect, only more expensive), and you will see why it's so popular with the trade and other DIY experts.
It has the largest range of colours to choose from, so If you want to paint a garden room, garden furniture, or anything that requires a nice finish to it, then there's a colour for you.

Royal Exterior is a protek paint with a nice thick consistency and covers extremely well on all types of timber, along with brick and masonry. However, due to it's density, it is brush application only. It's quality could mean you might only require one coat, plus the time between renovations is years rather than months.
In short - it's a superior alternative to Cuprinol Shades.

Why would I choose

Woodstain & Protect

The easy answer to this question is... because it is cheaper than Cuprinol Shades. So this is in the mid point price bracket and appeals to customers painting the garden shed or the garden fence. The first thing to note is that is is easy to spray on, so if you have a whole line of fence panels this is for you. Also if you like to see the grain of the timber, but prefer a colour other than green, black, or brown, then the Wood Protector range is for you. Every year more colours get added to the palette, and we currently have 40 to choose from.

It can also create an opaque finish similar to the Royal Exterior, but more coats need to be applied. In essence it is a thinner version of the Royal Exterior, at a cheaper price - but it needs re-applying sooner than the Royal Exterior.

In short: It's equivalent to Cuprinol Shades at a cheaper price

Why would I choose

Timber Eco Shield

You can't find this on the high street. So you would choose this product for a big fence or large wooden building, when you are happy with a natural looking finish. It is a beefed up version of the shed and fence range, and has a slight sheen finish when it dries. It is also extremely waterproof, so if you want to apply two coats, do it before the first coat is completely dry. The lifespan is excellent, and the coverage is amazing, so it appeals to customers wanting to spray the fence or wooden garage every 3 or 4 years.
It's also brilliant for teak garden furniture that's gone grey, as it's water resistant properties means you can leave the furniture outside all year round.

Why would I choose

Shed & Fence

So the Shed and Fence range is a cheaper version of the Timber Eco Shield. You would use this product when you want an Eco Friendly alternative to the synthetic man made shed and fence products that contain CMIT/MIT(3:1).
Whilst it may be a cheaper product, what you do get is a sprayable wood stain with a wax coating that gives good protection and great coverage. Our customers choose this when they want to put colour back into the fence or shed whilst using an organic, low VOC product - but spend as little as possible.

In short: It's an Organic version of Ducksback Cuprinol
